Private First Class Edward Lakomy was from Chicago, Illinois. He enlisted into the Army from his hometown on January 24th 1941. Edward was killed in action on Biazzo ridge, Sicily July 11th 1943. He is buried in the Rome - Sicily American Cemetery in Nettuno, Italy.
