Troopers of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment

 Morton Katz served with the 509th Parachute Infantry Battalion. He transferred the the 505 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division when the 509th was disbanded in early 1945.He earned the Bronze Star medal with an Oak Leaf Cluster.
