This page is dedicated to Harry T. Greenfield, Sr.

 
 



   Harry Travis Greenfield Sr. entered the United States Army on October 5,1940, from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He intially served with a Calvery Regiment but later volunteered for the patratroops and the 456th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion,  C  Battery. He rose to the rank of Tech/5 in 1945. Harry's Army serial number is 18016561.

Harry is standing on the far Right. This is likely taken stateside, possibly Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Sorry we don't know the names of the other paratroopers. Let us know if you recognize anyone.
