This account of the Battle for Trois Ponts, Belgium was written by the 505 Parachute Infantry Regiment's 2nd Battalion Commander
Lt. Colonel Ben Vandervoort. The letter appeared in E companies unpublished book called "Echoes of the Warriors". The work
was edited and compiled by E companies George Jacobus in 1992. You will likely find this excellent history of E company quoted
in most books written about the 505.
